Diary Notes (continued)

8th December 2007

Today we held our first fundraising event and despite the appalling weather and the overnight mystery of the missing "flyer adverts" from lamposts, we raised £300 towards our cause. The highlight of the morning was of course the visit of Santa who stayed with us for the 2 hour duration and delighted children and parents alike. We had two of "our Mums" Yvonne and Rachel doing the face painting for thechildren and they both worked tirelessly.There were lots of raffle prizes and a thanks go to all those who donated gifts etc.

The fantastic Christmas Hamper that was donated by Esther McVey,was won by a Mrs Gill of Meols. Other prize winners picked up Gift Tokens donated by Fuse Hairdressers in Barnston Lane Moreton, Beauty Within in Birkenhead Road, Meols, Bizzy Bee Car Wash on the Meols Stretch and more ............details to follow
