Following discussions with Jackie Smallwood of Wirrals Leisure Dept today, it is anticipated that the new Seesaw will be installed in early September. There wil also be a new noticeboard being erected in the playground area. This will enable us to display any parks literature and Events

Sorry to disappoint ... but, we will not now be having a fundraising stall at the annual Great Meols Primary School Summer Fair on 28th June 2008, as after all, the occasion is a major fundraising event for the benefit of the school.
We will however be there as individuals supporting our children's school, so please go along and join in the fun of the summer fair.
A follow on to this is that Pip Shedden has kindly offered a contribution from this years School Nativity Play towards Park Funds. Pip Shedden along with Mrs Burrows is also paticipating in our Abseiling Event on Septeber 28th.
I Wonder who wil get down the building first !!!
Any donations or pledges of support for the Friends of Meols Park are of course always welcome and we look forward to seeing you all at our future fundraising events.
We have now had our first success in raising funds for a multi-play unit to be installed in the park and we now aim to carry on our fundraising to further improve the playing facilities for our children. Many thanks to everyone who has contributed and helped - together we can make our Park better.
